Basic Life Support BLS
The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work hands-on with an Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.
Learning Topics
• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infant’s
• Application of an AED
• Ventilation skills and techniques
• Multirescuer resuscitation CPR and AED
• Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS
The ACLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The hands-on instruction and simulated cases in this advanced course are designed to help enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. Life Stat is an American Heart Association Training Site for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). We provide 2 day ACLS Provider and 1 day ACLS Renewal Courses.
Learning Topics
Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS
A series of simulated pediatric emergencies help teach a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.
The AHA’s PALS Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. This classroom, Instructor-led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to critically ill or injured pediatric patients, resulting in improved outcomes
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated real-life pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment and treatment. Life Stat is an American Heart Association training site for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). We provide 2 day PALS Provider and 1 day PALS Renewal Courses. Our second day of each 2 day Provider Course is a Renewal Course for those who hold a current AHA PALS Provider card.
Learning Topics
ECG & PHARM
This classroom-based, instructor-led course is designed to establish understanding and improve electrocardiogram (ECG) recognition skills and pharmacology knowledge for treating cardiovascular emergencies.
ECG & Pharmacology is a classroom-based, instructor-led course. It's the only course of its kind from Life Stat focusing solely on this critical knowledge. It is designed to improve electrocardiogram (ECG) recognition skills and pharmacology knowledge for treating victims suffering from cardiovascular emergencies. Students learn drug calculations and hands on medication drawing techniques. Great preparation program for the ACLS and PALS Courses.
I just wanted to thank you for everything today. I feel like you were able to make the material so simple and easy to follow, and for that I am grateful!
